How can I buy the software?

Please send us a ‘Quote request’ via DataLink website, our specialist will be in touch in order to confirm the quote and finalize all the details. When the functionality for the project is approved you will receive our invoice and after prepayment you will receive an email with an attached file or a web link to download the software. Our specialist will contact you for the further installation instructions.

How can I pay for the software?

We accept bank transfers, cheques, and PayPal transfers. Please contact our sales team and they will give you all necessary details.

Does the connector’s price include VAT?

No, it doesn’t. But we will calculate the price with VAT accordingly to the EU trading rules. So if you are registered for VAT please give us your VAT ID for properly invoicing. Customers from outside the EU are not eligible for VAT.

Which Ecommerce systems does the WebDataLink integrate with?

Ready-to-use software is available for Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, Shopware, OpenCart, Loaded Commerce, osCommerce, ZenCart, X-Cart, PrestaShop, VirtueMart, Interspire, Cube Cart. If your online store is not in the list, please contact our sales team to discuss custom integration.

Which versions of Sage 50 the connector can work with?

DataLink works with current and previous versions of Sage 50 (versions 10, 11, 12, 13, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, Sage 50 C).

Which versions of MYOB the connector can work with?

DataLink works with versions of MYOB Account Right Classic, MYOB Account Right Live and MYOB Retail Manager.

Which versions of QuickBooks the connector can work with?

Currently DataLink works with QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Premier desktop versions.

What is the connector installation?

The DataLink Connector consists of two parts. The web part is pre installed to the eCommerce web site by DataLink team. The offline part will be installed by our specialist through the remote access on the computer where Accounting Software/ERP master database is stored.

Can I install the web part of connector myself?

There is a standard installation wizard, however we recommend to contact our team for special instructions.

Can the connector work through local network?

Unfortunately, we don’t provide such facility. The DataLink connector must be installed onto the same computer as Accounting Software/ERP.

Can DataLink handle large volumes of data?

Yes, and it is quite fast. Our software was stress-tested for large volume data operations, more than 1,000 orders were imported within an hour.

What if I want to only send 100 out of 10,000 products for an update?

We can make it dependant on certain flag settings in the DataLink ‘Options Screen’.

Can I deal with multiple webshops?

Yes, DataLink can connect to multiple web shops. Let us know how many shops you’d like to connect via DataLink and we will provide you with a corresponding solution.

I don’t want to synchronise all orders from my online store but only the new ones. What should I do?

The connector has an option “Synchronise orders starting from” on the eCommerce ‘Options Screen’. You can enter the order ID and synchronisation will start from that order.

What is the Test connection button for?

The Test connection button is to check the connector’s settings. When you configure your eCommerce or Accounting software options you must be sure if the connector can access your web site and Accounting software database properly.

If DataLink connector has damaged my Accounting Software database what should I do?

It never happens if your DataLink connector’s options and settings were set up properly. Please see our DataLink Connector User Guide for more details. Also we strongly recommend all our customers to backup their databases regularly.

How can I see the synchronisation progress?

Please pay attention to connector’s tray icon and hint – if synchronisation process is still going it will blink and the hint will show you what is exactly happening now.

I’ve tried to synchronise my data with DataLink connector but nothing happens. What should I do?

If you are under a firewall or any antivirus software is installed on your computer it can block DataLink connector. Please check your firewall or antivirus software options and add the connector into the Exceptions list.

I have orders that often contain items with VAT and items that are zero VAT rated. Will the connector deal with these mixed orders correctly?

Yes, it will recognize such orders correctly if you have tax classes and tax rates set up in your online store properly.

What happens if halfway through the download I lose my internet connection? Does it check for orders not to be duplicated?

Yes, DataLink connector checks for orders not to be duplicated. It won’t create one more order if it has been already imported. It uses the Our Ref. field to store web shop’s order ID and checks this field.

Is the transfer line secure against hackers?

Yes. First of all, we recommend it to be SSL (HTTPS) protected. Then, we encrypt the data on the site and decrypt it again already in the connector software.

Is there an activity created when the order is made so you can quickly identify new orders?

Yes. A notification message appears for about 30 seconds; also we can play a sound file.

Do I get an email when new orders have arrived?

By default – not, however we can add the functionality that triggers email notification on the website.

I’d like all downloaded online orders belong to the same customer’s account. Is it possible?

Yes, it’s possible, please mention this requirement during the installation.

What kind of customer support / help with installation do you offer?

We ensure the system works fine once it’s set up. After the installation two-months support plan is provided, we won’t charge you for the fixes and some system updates applied within this period.

What is the support if I have a problem with DataLink?

If you have any problem or question – you are always welcome to send us an email or call us. Of course the preferred option is to post a ticket into our special Support solution. Usually your ticket will be professionally processed and answered within the next 24 business hours. If any urgent action is required – you are welcome to give us a call and we will see how exactly we can help you.

I’ve upgraded my Sage/MYOB/QuickBooks/Mamut to a new version. Will the connector work properly?

We are always in touch with any updates and new versions of DataLink. We will release new versions of the connectors and offer them to our customers. New DataLink releases are available as a part of support plan or can be purchased separately.
